Who we are

What we collect

We collect only the information you provide voluntarily and a minimal amount of technical data required to serve the website:

• Demo request form: full name, work email, company, country, agency type and any optional message.
• Direct correspondence: any information you share when you email us.
• Website analytics: aggregated, non-identifying usage data collected via [Analytics provider].

Purpose of processing

We process this data solely to respond to demo requests, arrange product walkthroughs, evaluate potential commercial fit and improve our website. We do not use your data for advertising and we never sell personal data.

Legal basis

Processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to inbound business enquiries and, where applicable, on the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Retention

Demo request data is retained for up to 24 months from the last meaningful interaction, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to serve the business relationship.

Subprocessors

We rely on a small number of standard business subprocessors (email delivery, analytics, calendar scheduling). A current list is available on request at privacy@placeo.io. All subprocessors are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.

Cookies and analytics

We use only strictly necessary cookies by default. If we introduce non-essential analytics, we will request consent through a cookie banner and offer the ability to refuse.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email privacy@placeo.io.

No sale of personal data

Placeo does not sell personal data to third parties.
